I truly love my son more and more everyday, so much that it terrifies me at times because I have no idea what I’d do if anything ever happened to him. I want to protect him forever and it’s so anxiety inducing at times. I cried just hearing him cry from getting his first set of shots. I never loved anything or anyone as much, he is truly my number one. It’s hard not to be consumed when I’m still a stay at home mom and he is my world but him being my world will never change

The craziest part of being a mom to a newborn especially but parent in general is how responsible for his whole life I am. I know it’s normal to worry if I’m good enough but the thought of being responsible for anything bad happening is so scary especially when he’s this young and fragile. I just want him safe and happy always
